Recently, Nikon release it’s new DX AF-S 35mm f1.8G lens. Saw the test shots on most sites and the quality pictures were amazing. Somehow this lens will definitely suitable for my D40 and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I’ve called some of the dealers about this lens and sadly is was sold out in few days right after it was released here. Most of them quoted S$350-S$400 per piece. I really hope to get this before July comes!
Flower Festival 2009!

The above event took place at the Sentosa. Went there with my lovely cousin and her husband on the second day of Chinese New Year and the journey that we had was indeed a pleasant one even though we need to take the shuttle bus from one beach to another but luckily it was a fast trip.
Anyway, the place was very crowded with visitors and they just stand anywhere and everywhere just to get themselves photographed. There’s this couple standing exactly beside me, I mean exactly very near beside me posing themselves for the camera. What the! Do I look like a gigantic purple flower or something. Well, the flower festival was nice but not much of excitement of exotic flowers to be seen only decorations of props and the beach was nice. I really had a great time!
Well to all the Chinese out there celebrating, Gong Xi Fa Cai! May you have a prosperous Lunar New Year! =)

On 27 December 2008, was the day I went out with my very close friend and his girlfriend to a park for their pictures taken. We planned it for quite sometime ago and finally we managed to do it even though the weather was half good and not good that day. Anyway, I’m happy that the pictures turned out to be beautiful!
After 4-5 hours of sweating myself under the sun I decided to catch up with my other friend for her long waited movie called “Twilight”. And I can’t believe… I mean seriously there are so many girls falling for this Edward (vampire) guy! By the way… why must vampires like pretty and slim girls huh! How about chubby (or fat) ones! Don’t tell me fat chics are heavy to carry or hard to bite or something. Yeah, I want to be a vampire too! Well, I do enjoy over the weekends and I really miss my parents very much.
Anyway, the pictures are up for preview!
Equip: Nikon D40 with Nikkor 50mm/F1.8 lens. The first 2 pictures were accidentally used under P mode.
