19 July – ICL

The important stuffs for my 1 week MC.

To tell you the truth, I’m very much nervous on the ICL thingy than the PI one. It took less than 30 minutes to do both eyes and I thank god everything went smoothly, Alhamdulillah!!! Yeah, now I can be Batman! Nah… vampire sounds better, Hahaha!

The procedure is very straight forward. You need to take couple of pills an hour earlier. Then they will abuse your eyes till you can’t feel eyes up to your brows. A very nice nurse will escort your way to the operation room and you will see 1 blue and 2 white masked people waiting for you. This is the best part! The doctor will paste a special open eye patch to stick both upper and lower eyelids to prevent blinking. Then he will inject the gel base lens behind your iris. Touching your pupils and adjusting the gel using some tool to make the gel stable and clear vision after the operation. Yes, you able to see all that stuffs for 30 minutes. You kidding me? It was the most scariest thing I ever seen! >_<”

Again, you guys will ask me this golden globe question. You can’t feel anything except during the adjusting part where you will feel slight pain for few seconds. Other than that, after the surgery your eyes will be swollen depends on how sensitive your eye nerve is. Slight pain around the upper rim. Vision will be dimmed during night time for couple of days. And few regulations to keeps your eyes safe for the meantime as well. Mine took about 2 to 3 days to recover fully.

My ICL took place at Eagle Eye Centre (at Mt. Alvernia) by Dr Julian Theng.

14 July – First PI Appointment

Went for my PI Laser Procedure on Thursday before my official ICL operation on 19th. My pupil will be required to be constricted prior to the procedure. The Laser Procedure will take about 15 to 20mins and my vision will be dimmed and blurred for 4 to 6 hours due to the eye drop effects. I will then be given eye-drops to be instilled for 3 days after the Laser Procedure. I will also given another bottle of eye drops antibiotics (Vigamox) to be instill one day before operation.

My very first time experienced and all I can say is, you need to be very brave when doing this important procedure when comes to ICL, as you will be sitting while looking at the machine and a little pressure feeling when the laser punching 2 very small holes onto your eyes. I know people gonna ask me this golden question, to me the pain is about 3 to 5 seconds on each eye. The rest is just a slight stinging. Alhamdulillah, the procedure went well! Will update after my ICL surgery soon. =)

Meow….

Decided to snap few of my Hello Kitty stuffs over the weekend. It’s not that much though. Still looking for desk clock and frames. I also have plush toys from McDonald’s many years ago. Me and my mom had to queue together just to get them in pairs because we’re allowed to get 1 HK or Daniel per meal. Yes… it was ridiculous eh! Will try to upload them soon. I’m trying to stay away from plush toys and get figurines for my desk at home instead!

I’ve ordered couple of charms via online and hopefully they reach here safely!

Talam Roti Berlauk…

The weather is kinda nice today to snap few pictures of my mom’s cuisine. As for the past weeks it’s been cloudy and couple of evening rain here.

Took this around 6.30pm…

Hello Kitty!

Been hunting a decent HK watch for long time. I know somehow it’s kinda hard to find it locally here so I try to keep a look-out on ebay, more likely on and off thingy since there are so many brands (including fakes) and designs out there. A few caught my attention and one of them is extremely cute, luxury cutting and expensive too. I’m not entirely a “bling-bling” person but these watches are so pretty to stared at and they are from Chouette!

After the long search… Sanrio took my heart away! ^_^

It’s okay not to be shallow…

“There’s a story behind every person. There’s a reason why they’re the way they are. They aren’t just like that because they want to – they’re shaped by the people they meet, the experiences they endure and the moments that make them who they are. So remember not to be too quick to judge and instead understand the situation.”

18/06/11 – Maher Zain Live!

Maher Zain concert was a blast! The show starts late but as long it’s not cancelled I’m cool with it.

Few complaints to point out. The venue sucks! I remember going for the Crocs Warehouse sale there. For the amount we paid, Max Pavilion could have been a good choice for a start. The seating kinda close to each other, the row spacings are too spread out and the seats doesn’t come in multi-level for the front audiences. The side, the front. It’s freaking close! I almost hit the lady’s head in front of me with my lens. >_<”

Maher Zain may not be very famous but as a performer he deserves a better place than a huge, visible pipes, dirty walls, dim lights warehouse space. Other than that I really enjoy the concert. Maher Zain please come back again! =D
