I received few private messages from new friends on Facebook asking about my photos. What model I used? Lens type? Any additional stuffs that I use to make the photos much more clearer? Firstly, thank you guys for the comments! I really appreciate them! =D

My photos are just basic and simple, nothing special really. Cameras that I used Lumix FP3 compact camera and an old Nikon D40 DSLR. I still use the kit lens and other couple of lens that I still like today as well. The ones I have they all work great for me even though I wasn’t recommended by anyone. The kit lens may look useless but they are not guys! Try to use them more, if not keep them. You’ll never know when your most favorite lens is having a bad function day. And is good for practicing too. For the extra boost to make the photos more nicer either I use the filter (Intensifier or Portrait) or Photoshop, Picnik.com, Picasa. I love editing! It makes the photos looked more yummy!

I understand that some DSLR users aren’t quite satisfied with their photos. My sincere advise is to learn on how your gadget works. Mind on focus, a little patience, full motivation, creativity and love for all beauty. When I first time use my D40 I use it like my normal compact camera and it turned out to be very blurry. Every model has different kind of shutter release button and functions. Once you able to tackle it you able to know when to click, when to stay in the same position for few seconds and when to move. Everybody wants fantastic results in every shots they take but sadly a camera is just a machine. They can’t do much without the user doing something about it. Slowly you’ll get there.

I always keep my finger focusing and snapping the same subject many, many times. Out of 10 usually 2 or 3 made it to the ‘not bad’ list. Imagine if you only snap a couple of it and none of them is likeable to keep. You regret and wish you could have taken more. >That’s right! Go ahead, snap more! Feel good on your hard work. Never highly expect good results and never delete them from your camera too. Upload and see each one of them.

Always keep your eyes on the subject. Focus on what you really want to see in the picture. The face, the eyes, the flower, the petals… anything! They must fit in the picture. The more you focus on it, the more creative you’ll be. And when you’re being creative, you’re being original.

Last but not least, try to make a little effort in editing the photos if possible. Color balance, adjusting skin tones, contrast, air-brush, darkening and cropping. You need a software with some knowledge to do the magic. >Just like cooking. Ingredients and simple basic skills are just the stuffs you need to cook. But your tongue is the key that defines how it should taste like. =)

We tend to make few mistakes and lack of knowledge. But that doesn’t mean we should just chuck the camera one corner, give-up and forget the whole thing about it. My previous post regarding my experience have lead me so many ways to love and hate photography. And my heart choose to love. You don’t have to do exactly the same. We don’t have to like what others like. We should do what we love to do. An interest at heart.

Photography is simple. If you’re not being serious about it then just have fun with it! =D

My sincere apologies for not updating this blog that much. So many things planned up lately like movies (date me please!), weddings (3 this month), concerts (Maher Zain) and my ICL surgery which is confirmed on early July. If you’re wondering why ICL and not just the normal Eye Lasik thingy well actually I was hoping for lasik myself and get it done on my first appointment last month but after the whole eye scanning it seems my right eye got this Cornea Abrasion and not to mention my astig is quite high as well. The only choice I have is the ICL surgery. The lens need to be ordered. Charming doctor has a busy schedule. I too have a busy schedule so that’s the reason for the delay. >_<”

Rupa buruk takper, jangan perangai! Itu selalu dinasihat oleh orang tua. Tapi zaman sekarang nih walaupun rupa buruk tetap main peranan, sama ada nak jadikan kawan atau teman hidup. Ada dalam golongan orang yang sanggup buat apa saja nak cantikan (atau hiaskan) diri semata² nak balas dendam atas tenguran orang lain. Ada pula tak suka dirinya tu kurang cantik dari orang lain. Oklah, selagi diri tu happy dengan apa saja yang dilalukan, buat jer! Takder orang boleh halang kecuali diri sendiri.

Tapi, apabila orang tegur perangai tu buruk takder pula dengar nak ubah ker. Dia marah lagi ada! Tidak semua orang pandang rupa dan tak ramai yang pandang perangai jugak tapi kita lihat dalam dasar pengaulan seharian. Takkan kita nak tengok muka dia jer. Takyah cakap, tengok jer muka tu hari² hah! Tentu kita berbual macam² kan dan berbual nih pulak jadi issue seperti cara dia cakap, perkataan yang digunakan, character dia dan sebagainya. Kalau rupa handsome macam Johnny Depp, masa sekali pandang confirm tak boleh angkat, confirm in love nye. Abih once dah kenal berbual lak nak step, nak jadi Mr. Tahu Semua… pat dalam kamus tu pun dia tahu semua meaning dia! Apa lak takder orang macam gini! Ada oi! Kita ibaratkan kawan kejer sebagai contoh. Kalau kena yang geret, geretlah dia. Kalau tak? Dot… dot… dot……….

Tidak usahlah buat sesuatu bermati-matian terutama sekali yang tidak kekal dalam dunia nih. Apa yang diberikan pada kita, kita terima dengan penuh kesyukuran. Ada sebabnya Allah jadikan sesuatu yang bukan milik kita. Jika ia adalah milik kita, tidak ada sesiapa pun yang boleh menghalanginya kecuali Allah. Yang kekal ialah dihati, bukan dimata. Sama juga dengan hidup dimana yang kekal disana, bukan disini.
